Insurance claim documentation, where we are supporting a claim on your behalf

When you visit this website

Technical information handled automatically by our hosting provider (Wix/Cloudflare), such as IP address, browser type and basic request logs, used for security and delivery of the site
We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking on this website

To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit or survey
To prepare quotes and carry out the work you have agreed to
To invoice you and keep accounting records we are legally required to keep
To support insurance claims you ask us to assist with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing lists or automated decision-making.

Enquiries that do not become jobs — up to 2 years from last contact
Customer and job records — up to 7 years after completion (to cover warranty and legal limitation periods)
Accounting records — at least 6 years, as required by tax law
Website technical logs — as retained by our hosting provider for security purposes, typically a short period

After these periods, information is deleted or anonymised.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within one month. We will not charge for this unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

9. How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information: access to customer records is limited to the people in the firm who need them, quotes and job records are stored securely, and our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of storage is completely risk-free, but we treat customer information the way we would want ours treated.
